Vocal Voyage is based on a holistic approach focused on a combination of breathwork, meditation, voice activation, muscle mobility, vocal range expansion and vocal health. It is designed to help you sing your favorite songs without straining, improvise with your voice and feel its incredible power. With this holistic guide to singing you can do even more than that:

The following lessons help to develop and maintain proper vocal technique, which is necessary for achieving optimal vocal performance and preventing vocal cord injury. By knowing how to engage the muscles that are used to produce sound, by understanding the role of breath and by warming up the vocal cords prior to singing or speaking for lengthy periods, vocal delivery will be optimized.

Learn the key terms and definitions: the diaphragm and how it can help improve singing, the throat & mouth role in singing, difference between open voice & falsetto voice
Breathing exercises for activation and stretching the diaphragm before singing to improve the quality of your sound
Warm up exercises before singing: exaggerated kiss, throat stretching yawns, tongue stretch, face massage, lip trills, tongue trills, vocal fry.
Circulation exercise to activate muscles, cool down period (post singing), cool down lip trills, cool down vocal fry and Salvatore’s vocal health tips before/after singing to keep your voice healthy.
Let’s train your ears to help you hit the notes and improvise as you sing. Learn about singing intervals within a major scale, singing the chromatic scale.
Let’s expand your vocal range. Learn about ascending 5 to 1 scale and descending 5 to 1 scale.
Practice smooth shifts from open voice to falsetto, exercises for alternating between open voice & falsetto.
Let’s train your ears to help you hit the notes and improvise as you sing. Practice singing random notes, ear training intervals: thirds, fourths, fifths and octaves.
Learn transitioning between open voice and falsetto by yodeling.
Learn to deal with nerves before going on stage, practice alternate nostril breathing, bellows breath and breath of non-attachment.
